Cheddar and Apple Crispbreads With Cinnamon Brown Sugar Almonds

Ingredients
½ CUP SLICED ALMONDS
2 TABLESPOONS BROWN SUGAR
½ TEASPOON GROUND CINNAMON
¼ TEASPOON FINE SEA SALT
4 LIGHT RYE WASAⓇ
½ HONEYCRISP APPLE, DICED
⅓ CUP PACKED SHREDDED WHITE CHEDDAR
How to:
1.
Preheat oven to 350℉.

In a large skillet over medium heat, combine almonds and brown sugar. Cook, stirring frequently, until sugar partially melts and coats almonds and almonds are lightly toasted, about 5 minutes. Take off heat and stir in cinnamon and salt.
3.
Place Wasa on a sheet pan, top with apple, and sprinkle with cheese. Bake until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
4.
Sprinkle warm Wasa with almonds. Serve immediately.
