Ingredients
12OZ BRUSSELS SPROUTS, TRIMMED
1 TABLESPOON OLIVE OIL
1 TABLESPOON HOT HONEY
1 TEASPOON FINE SEA SALT, DIVIDED
¼ TEASPOON BLACK PEPPER
½ CUP TAHINI
2 TABLESPOONS FRESH LEMON JUICE
1 GARLIC CLOVE, MINCED OR PRESSED
4 WHOLE GRAIN WASAⓇ
TOASTED SESAME SEEDS
How to:
0.
Halve or quarter Brussels sprouts depending on their size (larger ones can be quartered).
1.
In a medium bowl toss Brussels sprouts with oil, honey, ½ teaspoon salt, and pepper. Place sprouts in an air fryer basket or rack and cook at 375℉ until well browned, about 10 minutes.
2.
While Brussels sprouts cook, in a blender combine tahini, remaining ½ teaspoon salt, lemon juice, and garlic. Blend on medium speed until combined. With the blender running, drizzle in water until sauce is very smooth and lightens a bit in color (up to ¼ cup water).
3.
Spread tahini sauce on Wasa, then top with Brussels sprouts. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Refrigerate leftover tahini sauce in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
