Savory Mushroom Sandwich

Wasa Original is a slightly thinner and crispier rye crispbread. It has a more powerful taste than, for example, Husman. Also known as Rågi in Sweden, Roggen Dünn in Germany and Authentuque in France.

INGREDIENTS
200G SMALL MUSHROOMS
2 TBS DAIRY FREE BUTTER
1 CLOVE GARLIC (GRATED)
½ TSP DRIED THYME
SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE
OPTIONAL TOPPINGS: AVOCADO, FRESH VEGETABLES (FOR A SIDE SALAD)
METHOD
1.
Rinse and dry the mushrooms.
2.
Cut them in thin slices.
3.
In a pan, melt the dairy free butter on medium heat.
4.
Press the garlic in the pan.
5.
Add the mushrooms, thyme, salt and pepper.
6.
Fry for about five minutes until the mushrooms are golden brown.
7.
Put the mushrooms on two Wasa crisp breads (with lots of fibre, such as Sport) with mashed avocado.
8.
Serve with a side salad and you’ve got yourself a lunch!
