Caramelized Banana Walnut on Sourdough

4 SOURDOUGH WASAⓇ
4OZ WHIPPED CREAM CHEESE SPREAD
2 TABLESPOONS BROWN SUGAR, DIVIDED
1 TEASPOON GROUND CINNAMON
¼ TEASPOON FINE SEA SALT
1 TABLESPOON UNSALTED BUTTER
1 FIRM-RIPE BANANA, SLICED
¼ CUP CHOPPED TOASTED WALNUTS

In a medium bowl stir together cream cheese, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Set aside.

In a medium nonstick skillet melt butter over medium heat. Stir in remaining 1 tablespoon brown sugar until bubbly, then add banana slices in a single layer. Cook, flipping banana slices once, until browned on both sides.

Spread 1 tablespoon cream cheese on each Wasa, then top with bananas and a sprinkle of walnuts. Refrigerate leftover cream cheese spread in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
