Honey, Fig, Goat Cheese, Chili Oil Dip with Wasa Sourdough Crisp

So classic, it’s commonly known in Europe as the “original” crispbread. Baked to a golden color, this medium-bodied, natural sourdough flavor is derived from a unique blend of rye grains.

Ingredients
WASA® SOURDOUGH CRISPBREADS
4 OUNCES OF GOAT CHEESE
3 TEASPOONS HONEY + EXTRA TO SERVE
½ TEASPOON CHILI OIL + EXTRA TO SERVE
2 TABLESPOONS GREEK YOGURT
1 TABLESPOON NEUTRAL OIL
3 FIGS, QUARTERED
4 SLICES PROSCIUTTO
4 THYME SPRIGS
How to:
1.
Whip together 1 tablespoon honey, chili oil, goat cheese and yogurt to a smooth, spreadable paste. Taste and adjust seasonings to preference.
2.
Put 2 tablespoons honey in a small frying pan over a medium heat. Once hot add in the figs and fry for 1 minute on each side until soft and sticky.
3.
Add a splash of oil into a large pan and fry the prosciutto until crispy.
4.
Spread the goat cheese dip across a shallow dish and top with the sticky figs, crispy prosciutto and sprigs of thyme. Top with a drizzle of honey and extra chili oil to taste.
